1. Dr. Seuss Treasury - This app gives you access to almost all Dr. Seuss books. You can download the books to your mobile device and enjoy. You can read the books yourself or have them read to you. The words are highlighted as they are read. There is even an option for autoplay. One book can be projected for the entire class to view or students can select their own titles on individual iPads and read independently. Great option for differentiation.
2. PBS Kids - Cat in the Hat games and activities - This website offers fun extension games and activities related to the Dr. Seuss books. Huge connections to math and science inquiry. (This site is geared for K-2 students.)
3. Seussville Storymaker - This website lets you create your own three part story using clip art from Horton Hears a Who. Great website to use with all ages. (For all things in Seussville, click here.)
4. BrainPopJr - Dr. Seuss - Of course there's a BrainPop video for that! Provide your students will some background knowledge on this famous author.
